Community
Publish a kit for anyone to use. Forking copies the whole system into their own library.
Publishing
Publish any library item — including a kit and its full wiring diagram — from its Library entry. A publication is read-only to everyone until you unpublish it; publishing never exposes your organization's other data.
Publishing a pack family
A single SD card, a 3-pack and a 10-pack are three library items linked as pack variants. Publishing any one of them asks whether to include the rest — it stays one community listing, but every size travels inside it, so a fork gets the complete set with the sizes still linked to each other.
Leave it unchecked and only that one size is published. It arrives in someone else's library on its own, with nothing to say the other sizes exist — which also means the cheapest-pack suggestion on their Buying board can't work.
Forking
Forking a published kit doesn't just link to it — it recreates every part in the kit's recipe as a real, independent catalog item in your own library, wired up exactly the way the original was, including nested kits inside it. From that point it's yours to edit freely; nothing stays tied to the original.
Prices come with it. Every item's reference price is part of the published snapshot, so a forked kit totals to something real instead of zero.
Reporting
Flag a publication that shouldn't be public — the report goes to moderation, not to the publisher.
